Welcome to theĀ online homeĀ of the historic Hardwick Town House and Northeast Kingdom Arts Council (NEKArts). Please take a look around–check our calendar of events, learn a bit of the history of the Town House, meet our board members, and make a donation to support our work.
2010 marked the 150th birthday (or Sesqui-centennial) of the Hardwick Town House. NEKArts is excited to celebrate the building’s long history while working to restore the Town House to its greatest potential.
If you have any questions or comments regarding NEKArts, the Hardwick Town House, or this website, please feel free to email us at nekarts@hardwicktownhouse.org.

April 2012
We are excited to start a whole new season of programming at the Hardwick Town House! See our Events page for the schedule so far.
Our weatherization project, which includes restoration of doors and windows, is still underway, and the town of Hardwick is working closely with the NEKArts board to see more improvements made on the grounds of the Town House this year. By the end of the season, we expect to have easy access to additional parking at the Town Garage, a walkway up to the front steps, and stone added around the foundation for better drainage. Town Manager Jon Jewett has lined up a crew from the Vermont Youth Conservation Corps (VYCC) to help with these projects.
Fundraising Note: Members of the NEKArts Board will be out on Wolcott Street on Saturday, May 12th, doing a coin drop fundraiser. Bring some loose change along when you’re heading into town with your trash and recycling! We will make every penny count.
