“The Hardwick Town House is a large bit of my personal musical history. It is the place where, as a child, I first experienced great chamber music performed by extraordinary artists. The sound, as it blends in that space, is still the one I hear in my inner ear–a sound that defines a concert hall that is ALIVE. It is the baseline by which I measure all others. The intimacy of the room really does unite the performer with the audience making every concert feel like a gathering of chamber music faithful, celebrating together. It is a wonderful gem!”
